View all satellite suggestions

Permission: Anonymous User

Steps:

1. Visit SatNOGS DB
2. On the side menu, click on All Suggestions
3. At the top of the page, make sure that Satellites option is selected (blue-highlighted) at the top of the page, if not click on it to display the Satellites panel
4. Satellite suggestions table should be visible
5. For a detailed view of a suggestion click on the right arrow of the Details column

On the suggestions table you can select the visible columns and filter suggestions by pre-existing options or with custom string

View suggestions of a specific satellite

Permission: Anonymous User

Steps:

1. Visit SatNOGS DB
2. Go to satellite page
3. At the top of the page, if the satellite has suggestions then Suggestions option will be visible, click on it to display the Suggestions panel
4. Satellite suggestions table for the satellite should be visible if there are satellite suggestions
5. For a detailed view of a suggestion click on the right arrow of the Details column

On the suggestions table you can select the visible columns and filter suggestions by custom string

Permission: Anonymous User

Steps:

1. Visit SatNOGS DB
2. Go to satellite page
3. At the top of the page, click on the History option to display the History panel
4. Satellite suggestions history table for the satellite should be visible
5. For a detailed view of a suggestion click on the right arrow of the Details column

On the suggestions table you can select the visible columns and filter suggestions by custom string

View details of a satellite suggestion

Permission: Anonymous User

Steps:

1. Follow any of the "View all Satellite Suggestions", "View Suggestions of a specific Satellite", or "View Suggestion History of a specific Satellite" guides to get the suggestion table
2. For a detailed view of a suggestion click on the right arrow of the Details column
3. The suggestion entry should be visible

For inspecting the changes from the previous entry, at the top of the page, click on the Difference option to display the Difference panel

Add suggestion for a new satellite

Permission: Logged-in User

Steps:

1. Visit SatNOGS DB
2. On the side menu, click either on All Satellites or All Suggestions
3. At the top left of the page click on Actions menu
4. Select Suggest New Satellite option
5. New suggestion page with satellite entry form should load, for a detailed explanation of each field check the form fields section
