Hello, I am here as I am interested in understanding more about Radio, Satellites and Telemetry and I would, time permitting, like to contribute, Having said that I am more likely to be asking questions.

I have been a CB Radio Operator into Radio Amateur since about 1973 and I have done many non-electronic & radio related jobs. Including Army Medical, Police, And Community First Responder. My day job these days is as a Head of Information Security Governance. That is a non-technical role.

I have been interested in Space Stuff like most children forever but only recently got to messing with radios and Satellites. I only yesterday (22 Jun 2021) downloaded my first Slow Scan TV pictures from the International Space Station. Lovely.

I am on QRZ.Com, I do eQSL (when I remember).

I have: Windows 10 PC

Radio 1: ICOM IC-7000, primarily used for HF

Radio 2: ICOM IC-9700, This is new to me and still learning to fly it. It is connected to PC via USB & the Network via ethernet.

Then I have the Az/El YAESU G5500 rotator with the 232B interface. The Aerials / Antenna are WiMo X-Quads for VHF & UHF and I have VHF/UHF Masthead pre-amps
